Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

University teaching, North Western University, Department of EEE, 2024

Since August 2024, I have served as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at North Western University, Bangladesh, delivering lectures, running laboratory sessions, designing assignments, and supervising student projects.

Courses Taught

  • Digital Image Processing (EEE-4255) Lectures on core image-processing theory and modern computer vision; lab sessions and assignments on filtering, feature extraction, and deep-learning-based image analysis; supervision of computer-vision projects.

  • Digital Signal Processing (EEE-4115) Theoretical foundations of discrete-time signals and systems, the discrete and fast Fourier transforms, and filter design, with an emphasis on biomedical signal analysis (especially EEG).

  • Sessional on Digital Signal Processing (EEE-4116) Laboratory sessions implementing DSP in MATLAB and Python; supervision of student projects in EEG signal processing, filtering, and feature extraction.

  • Basic Electrical Circuits (EEE-1221) Fundamental laws, network theorems, and circuit analysis, with an accompanying assignment sequence.

Thesis Supervision

I supervise three undergraduate thesis students from problem formulation through manuscript submission, teaching programming, classical machine learning, deep learning, and signal processing.
